Off Grid Club - FREE to Attend!
What are off grid things? Think about what you truly enjoy doing when you find yourself not engaging with screens or digital devices and chilling with your buds. Here are some activities that pop into my head when I think of immersing myself in off-grid pursuits: collaging with found materials, planning a summer garden, staring at the sky and listening to the birds, expressing creativity through painting, molding and shaping with clay, getting lost in the pages of an intriguing book, exchanging ideas/resources/books/art materials/clothing with friends, exploring the vivid imagery found in picture books, writing thoughtfully in my planner or journal, mapping out an exciting trip using a paper map, dreaming up plans for a party with friends, reminiscing over old photos, weaving on a small loom, just hanging out and not doing not much at all, napping, selecting a recipe from a cookbook and then cooking it, writing heartfelt letters or postcards to friends and loved ones, doodling freely, singing joyously, stamp carvings…and the list goes on and on!
Now your turn! Don’t overthink it. Maybe the first thought is the best thought. All you have to remember about being part of the Off Club is that there is no commitment to do any one thing. It’s all about bringing along an activity that you would enjoy doing in community in place of being on a phone or a computer, or watching a TV. Thats it!
